ABOUT DAMIEN Damien Farrell is one of the founder members of the company that runs Hot Country. Damien started his broadcasting career in the late 80’s on a well known Dublin pirate radio station. Damien also worked on ABC 94FM, Magic Music Radio 102.2FM (which he owned) and Heartbeat FM. In 2003 Damien helped to set up and run "Irish Music Radio" which is now known as Hot Country. Damien is responsible for the transmission and studio engineering at Hot Country and is happiest when in the rack room with his “babies”. Never known to go anywhere without a role of sellotape in his pocket, Damien can clear a studio of all personal in a few seconds by simply taking a screwdriver out of his pocket!! Damien is married to Amanda and they have 2 children. Damien has the best job in the station….he makes us all sound great. |
